Apicius Products Recipes

A 'recipes' and 'products' post type manager. You can link recipes with products.

Recipes have name, ingredients, directions, featured image, tags (like 'entrees, appetizers'), products used, prep and cook times, serving size and number of servings. Many of these parts are optional, and don't have to be used.

Recipes are filterable on archive display by product category, product, recipe type (tag). Filtered recipe list is (optionally) linkable, by putting a hash in the URL

== Description ==
A "recipes" and "products" post type manager. If you are using WooCommerce for your products, this plugin works with that. If not, it makes its own products post type.

* Products have the option of having ingredients and nutritional information; even WooCommerce products

* Recipes have name, ingredients, directions, featured image, tags (like "entrees, appetizers"), products used, prep and cook times, nutritional information, serving size, and number of servings. Many of these parts are optional, and don't have to be used.
* Recipes are filterable on archive display by product category, product, recipe type (tag) as tiles and/or a dropdown
* Recipes have their own search box (optional)

* Archive is put onto any post/page you want with the use of the shortcode [apicius_recipes] or [apicius_products]
* Filtered recipe list is (optionally) linkable, by putting a hash in the URL
* Archive display (optionally) shows a count of how many recipes are being displayed (according to the filters)
* Archive display (optionally) is paginated, with the admin specifying the number of items per page, and whether or not to "collapse" some of the pages into an ellipsis if there's a lot of pages
* Single recipe view (optionally) includes a selection of random "related recipes" at the bottom - chosen by matching type; quantity determined in settings.
* Single recipe view's products can now be shown with the ingredients list, below the recipe, or both. The "below the recipe" option can be either limited or padded to a certain number of products; a request for more will pull random products to display to meet the number.
* Recipes and products output with a simple, well-classed structure, easily addressable by custom css.
* Single product view (optionally) includes a random selection of recipes that use that product; quantity determined in settings
* Single product and recipe views (optionally) include Previous and Next links at the top and/or bottom
* Settings page for whether or not to use some of the elements, which product categories to exclude, colors you can customize, and social sharing options.
* Default images for products and recipes without featured images, which can also be customized by your own upload in the settings.
* Widget available for a dropdown of recipe types that links to the recipe archive, pre-filtered.

* Regular post type can have multiple suggested items below the content, pulling from recipes and products. Displays like related items on single product or recipe posts.

* Uses Bootstrap for responsive sizing, but includes the (localized to Apicius) css necessary in case your site doesn't have it
* Requires the RW Meta Box plugin, which will automatically be prompted to install if it isn't already
* Requires the Meta Groups and Meta Box Settings Page plugins, which are included, and you will be automatically prompted to install them.
* Intuitive Custom Post Order is required for manually ordering recipes and products, although you don't have to.
* The name "Apicius" (ahPISH-iss) had long been associated with excessively refined love of food, from the habits of an early bearer of the name, Marcus Gavius Apicius, a Roman gourmet and lover of refined luxury who lived sometime in the 1st century AD, during the reign of Tiberius.
* Social media icons appreciatively used from

== Installation ==
1. Upload the `apicius-products-recipes` folder to the `/wp-content/plugins/` directory
2. Activate the plugin through the 'Plugins' menu in WordPress
3. Install and activate any additional required plugins (you will be prompted)
4. Put the shortcode `[apicius_recipes]` or `[apicius_products]` onto whatever pages you want the archives on, in order to have other content around it
5. Go to the settings page (Settings > Apicius Products Recipes) and choose what elements to use, as well as customize colors and default images
6. *IMPORTANT* Go to the Extended Search plugin's settings page (Settings > Extended Search) and be sure to check the things you want searchable - recommended to check Categories, Tags, Recipe Type, and Product Category in the "Select Taxonomies" section; recipe_description, recipe_directions_group, recipe_ingredients_group, and recipe_products in the "Select Meta Key Names" section; Recipes and Products in the "Select Post Types" section.

== Frequently Asked Questions ==
**I just made my first product/recipe and tried to view it, but the page says the item can't be found!**
Go into the WP Settings, in the Permalinks section. The "Post name" option works the best. If that's already what you had, just click Save Changes anyway. That generally fixes the problem.

**What order will the things show up? By "post" date?**
Recipes and products will be displayed with most recent first, unless you manually reorder them by using the ICPO plugin.

**Okay, so how do I manually reorder them?**
You need to go into the ICPO Settings page, which is "Intuitive CPO" under the main WP Settings menu, and tick the "recipes" and/or "products" checkboxes.

**Where's the recipes/products archive?**
There currently isn't a real way to reliably override the template for just the content portion of an archive view. I turned off the post type's archive, so I suggest you make a /recipes/ page and /products/ page and use the `[apicius_recipes]` or `[apicius_products]` shortcode on them. WordPress will most likely redirect to the correct page if someone tries to go to /recipe/ or /product/.

**Where is Recipes or Apicius Info menu items in the admin?**
WordPress 4.4+ allows menu items to have the same position number, so if Products, Recipes, or Apicius Info are missing from the admin side menu, please update your WordPress. Older versions would just overwrite menu items if their position number was the same.

== Description ==
Makes the site go to a specified URL after a set time of no interaction on other pages. This is extra handy if your site is being used for a kiosk! That way if someone pokes around, then wanders off, the kiosk will go back to, by default, the home page, instead of leaving the next visitor to wonder what's the deal with the kiosk. Any clicks/taps on the site will reset the timer. The script doesn't trigger on the url you specify, so it's not going to keep reloading every X minutes.

== Installation ==
1. Upload the `go-back-home` folder to the `/wp-content/plugins/` directory
2. Activate the plugin through the 'Plugins' menu in WordPress
3. Go to Settings > Go Back Home to change the url to direct to, and the delay before redirection, then enable the redirection.

== Description ==
This provides logged in wordpress admin users a new submenu in Settings for "Spit It Out".

* Whether the Spit It Out overlay on every page is active

And which bits of information you would like displayed.
* Current template file name
* Current query
* $wp_rewrite->rules
* $_SERVER
* $_REQUEST
* $_FILES
* $_SESSION
* The last error that occurred
* $wpdb->queries if it exists

**There is a shortcode for use in WYSIWYG content**
The option is to display if user is not a logged in admin; default to show only if admin.
`[spititout]` or `[spititout adminonly="false"]`

**There is a function for use in templates.**
If you call it with show_spitio(false)
it will show the stuff you have specified in the settings, even if the viewer is not a logged in admin
`show_spitio()` or `show_spitio(false)`

In the future, I would like to provide options for the following items.

* Various style aspects of the box
* Whether to give back the result by just spitting it out in the box, or by json, or perhaps something else
* Specific bits of $_SERVER so you don't have to get a dump of the whole thing

== Installation ==
1. Upload the `spit-it-out` folder to the `/wp-content/plugins/` directory
2. Activate the plugin through the 'Plugins' menu in WordPress
3. Go to Settings > Spit It Out to choose your displayed information and turn on the overlay, if desired.
